Date Question
Three cards — for a decision
Use this when you are choosing between two things, or wondering whether to move. Draw left to right.
Where you are
The situation as it actually is, not as it feels at 2am.
What’s in the way
The obstacle. Often your own hesitation wearing a disguise.
Where it leads
The direction of travel if nothing changes.
Five cards — for a situation you cannot read
Use this when something is stuck and you do not yet know why.

Reading it back
- Read the spread, not the cards. Three cards in a row is one sentence, not three. What do they say together?
- Reversals are not opposites. Blocked, delayed, or turned inward — a yes that needs more time, or a no already loosening. On the hard cards, the difficulty easing.
- Write it down before you interpret. Card, position, first reaction. The first reaction is usually the honest one.
- Ask once. Redrawing until you like the answer is shuffling until you agree with yourself.
- Come back in a week. Note what actually happened. This is the only way reading gets better.
